Ask how the demonstrated bottle reaches the filler and how formats are changed. Review bottle handling, installed tooling and the available production records. Confirm the air, cooling and cleaning information with the seller before assessing the project.
Verify identity and scope
Match serial plates, year, manuals, electrical drawings and the seller’s equipment list to every module offered.
Inspect condition
Check wear parts, lubrication, bearings, product-contact areas, safety systems, controls, obsolescence and visible modifications.
Test with evidence
Whenever possible run the equipment with representative product and formats, recording speed, rejects, alarms and changeover requirements.
